finally, a heartfelt goodbye to our good friend, bassist Doug Lunn.
Doug embodied a restless, searching and relentless spirit of creativity and forward thinking in this town, a town that often focuses on the commerce of music rather than the soul of it. I had the honor of making music with Doug in various incarnations of Mark Isham's band and treasure the times we shared.
in honor of Doug, we're releasing a live concert of a trio performance with myself, Vinnie Colaiuta and Doug from October of 2015. it was mixed live and was performed to accompany "Visible Sound" artist "sushness". all proceeds of this recording will be donated to the Venice Family Clinic, which really helped Doug in his time(s) of need. we miss you, Doug...
